Also, cloths, ornaments and other decorating materials on idols should be removed before immersion, she has urged fellow beings.

Well, Jacqueline is not the only one promoting eco-friendly Ganesha Chaturthi. ‘Singam’ star Kajal Aggarwal recently launched a campaign dubbed BIG Green Ganesha in Hyderabad, where the initiative promotes idols made with donated newspaper.  She also donated newspapers to the campaign.

Can anyone forget the pretty young lady from the film’ Maine Pyar Kiya’? Actress -designer Bhagyshree is also passionate about her green lifestyle, and at a recent event at Powai, she promoted and encouraged the use of clay Ganpati idols this festival season.
