RENERGY 2013 to Spur Faster Adoption of Renewable Energy across Sectors

Facilitating faster adoption of renewable energy across all sectors of industry and society will be high on the agenda of the upcoming the renewable energy event RENERGY 2013. To be organized by the Tamil Nadu Energy Development Agency (TEDA) at the South Indian metropolis of Chennai between May 9 and 11 this year, RENERGY 2013 will play host to one of the largest gatherings of the entire renewable energy eco-system, and will comprise captains of the renewable energy industry, sector professionals, government policy makers, companies, scientists and researchers, financial community, enthusiasts and more.

RENERGY 2012 has already carved a niche as one of the most successful renewable energy events in India. Based on this success, TEDA is leaving no stone unturned to make RENERGY 2013 a watershed event.

The event happens at a time when the solar power sector all over India, and especially in Tamil Nadu, has picked up momentum, making this a highly anticipated event.

This event also provides excellent opportunities for companies through its exhibition, sponsorship opportunities, networking and workshop sessions at the conference.

According to Narasimhan Santhanam of EAI, the coordinator of the event, “TEDA is glad to bring back RENERGY 2013 which will further new avenues for growth, development and the advancement of the renewable industry sector in the country. RENERGY2013 will further Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa’s vision to make Tamil Nadu a Solar hub”.


RENERGY 2013 will in fact provide an opportunity to understand the various dimensions of the renewable energy industry, and also provide a platform for the industry to expand the utilization of renewable energy sources.

The highlight of the event is that it would be India’s most comprehensive and acclaimed renewable energy event. Organized by TEDA and supported by the Ministry for Non-Conventional Energy, RENERGY 2013 will be the country’s largest renewable energy conference, and will have the participation of 2000 delegates, over 800 companies, 20,000 business visitors and 100 renewable energy experts. The event will have a special emphasis on solar energy.
