And now she has announced a new program for young designers. During her acceptance speech, McCartney has announced a new program which fund local, EU, and international masters of fashion students based on academic performance and financial need.

The program also introduces a one year placement for students at McCartney’s fashion house. But there is a condition for this scholarship; students who win the scholarship should avoid fur, leather or any other products that will harm animals.

Stella McCartney is the daughter of Sir Paul McCartney, the former Beatles member and the late photographer and animal rights activist, Linda McCartney.

This veteran animal lover always campaigns for animal welfare. Even in her designs she refuses to use fur or leather. She has also introduced a vegan-friendly range of collection that is made of 100% organic materials with a brand name CARE.
