The oversized ampersand will feature the brand’s broader mission to protect the planet, empower women and girls, and preserve traditional craft and cultures.
The products displayed as part of the campaign vary from an undyed cashmere pullover to organic denim jeans from New York City, which also features a fair-trade organic-cotton sweater that provides income for the women of Peru.
According to Hilary Old, the vice president of communications at Eileen Fisher, the brand was inspired to tell deeper stories about their commitments and these stories talks the labels’ business strategy that is ‘the power to create a positive change by making thoughtful choices’.
She also added that in clothing industry it is difficult to maintain sustainability and Eileen Fisher trying to keep the track by seeking out new ideas and uncovering the ugly facts.
The apparel include hangtags that tell the sustainable attributes in the garment such as eco-friendly fibers, low-impact colorants, Bluesign-certified dyes, color-grown and vegetable-dyed organic cottons.
The company’s resale shop in Yonkers, NY, called Green Eileen, donates its profits to female-centric programs that include Girls Inc., the Sadie Nash Leadership Project, and the New York Women’s Foundation.
