Planning a vacation? We suggest you go green at least now. In case you would want us to let you know of a green destination that would pamper you big time, come with us as we head for the Chinese city of Kunming. The charming Innhouse eco resort that stands tall in the lap of the woods is where we are heading for.
Designed by Oval Partnership, the Innhouse is a delicate formulation of appearance and texture that exhibits a variety of environmental attributes. The designers have made sure that an intimate space for travelers has been provided so as to let them unwind, without destroying the splendor of forest environment.
Amazingly humble when compared to many other huge projects of its kind, the Innhouse comprises three L-shaped building and sports an outline of wooden louvers.
The three buildings sport high lagging bamboo decks that protrude from them. This adds access to the outdoors from each of the 17 suites and allows guests to wander freely through the complex.
Everything about the Innhouse is eco-friendly. The green properties start with the hotel’s rainwater collection and grey water reuse systems.
