Bored of playing with the conventional computer keyboard? Here’s something that might interest you. iZen Bamboo, an environmentally alert company which makes products like iPad stands and iPhone cases, has now created a different keyboard that closely mimics Apple’s nearly-iconic Bluetooth device.
The surprise factor of this product is that it is made of 92% bamboo and it is fully recyclable.
The bamboo keyboard also includes a rechargeable Lithium ion battery. Via a USB 2.0 30-pin cable, you can charge the battery.
This cable is similar to the one that you already use in your iPhone or iPad and the USB charging cord is included in the box with the keyboard.
Other features of the new green accessory are that it uses Bluetooth technology and one touch access to Mac features.
It works wirelessly with iPads, iPhones, Macs, Androids, tablet PCs, smart phones, and many other Bluetooth-enabled devices.
Some of you might think that the keyboard sucks. But we are sure it would catch your attention with its low profile portable design and natural looks.
With improved key feels, it weighs 1.1 lbs (including box) and dimensions 11.5″ W x 5″ L x .75″H.
At present this keyboard is not available in the market. But the company is now planning a Kickstarter campaign to bring the iZen Bamboo keyboard into the market. If you love your nature and want to make some change then go for it.
