Elsa and Me Brings Black Back Wrapped in Green Style

Believe it or not, Black is back. Elsa and Me has come up with an indigenous black dress that is completely made of eco-friendly materials to provide style to busy business women. The Swedish designer Maja Svensson, founder of Elsa and Me, launched her new timeless dress for female environmentalists who don’t have time to follow trends.

“I created an eco-friendly dress for business women. The Elsa-dress, with its superior quality, will last up to 10 years,” said Maja Svensson when she recently held an event inManhattanwith fashion journalist Sofia Hedstrom and photographer Anna Schori who are the authors of the Swedish book, “The New Fashion Manifesto”.

The book illustrates how you can be an ecological shopper and give your clothes a second chance.

Made from 98 percent organic cotton sateen plus a 2% Lycra to give it the elasticity, the dress features front pleating at the waist to make the curves come true.

All the materials that are used in the manufacture of each and every one of these dresses follow strict Global Organic Textile Standards and Skal certifications. Priced at $170, it is available to a size of 12, which seem to have certainly made a sad response from the plus-sized women folk all over.
