Actor and model Pamela Anderson who also happens to be an animal activist working with the animal rights organization PETA has been featured yet again on the cover page of Playboy magazine. This is for the fourteenth time she is appearing for Playboy, but now it is in connection with her charity works, reads her website. The cover features her swimming nude in the Playboy Mansion swimming pool in a tribute to ‘La Dolce Vita.’
She decided to donate her earnings from the shoot of the cover to Waves for Water, an organization that supplies water filters to countries that are in need of clean drinking water. It has done remarkable jobs in countries like Indonesia, Pakistan and Haiti. Anderson says that she feels honored to be a part of this venture along with Playboy and is looking forward to support more of such life altering causes.
The activist has also launched her PETA Ad titled ‘Butcher’ recently in the UK. Though it has generated much controversy, Anderson hopes that it will act as an eye opener and exposes the cruelty that goes into farming animals for their meat.
She also explains her stand of appearing in bikini in the ad by saying that they thought this would be a great parody, the butcher ad and being in a bikini, will be helpful drawing attention to it and realizing that we all have the same parts.
Earlier the actor was also spotted at the Oxford Union, which is considered to be the world’s most famous debating society, Oxford University. Anderson was there as the PETA supporter to promote eating green and show off the Paul McCartney-narrated ‘If Slaughterhouses Had Glass Walls’.
