The Nano cutie has in fact charmed onlookers at the Geneva platform. When Tata Motors presented the Tata Nano Electric Vehicle (EV) at the 80th Geneva Motor Show, the act prompted hopes of more electric vehicles from the Tata stables in the near term.
As has been stressed in a statement by Ravi Kant, Vice Chairman, Tata Motors, electrification is sure to be a significant aspect of Tata Motors’ initiative to launch environment-friendly vehicles. As part of this initiative Tata Motors is set to bring in the Indica Vista EV to select European countries from this year. Meanwhile, the Tata Nano EV, has eco-friendliness as its main theme and promises environment-friendly personal transportation for the modern day driver. Comfortable enough to accommodate four people, the Nano EV has a range of up to 160 km and an acceleration of 0-60 kmph in less than 10 seconds.
