Hyundai i-flow concept points to D-segment family car


Hyundai has rolled out a new i-flow concept at the Geneva Motor Show. The i-flow concept comes with a dual-clutch transmission.1.7-litre diesel engine, Lithium Ion-Polymer battery, 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Significantly, the car makers have promised low volumes of CO2 emission.

Eco friendliness takes centrestage with the i-flow. Sporting good looks, thanks to a very attractive design, the i-flow give more preference for eco friendly cars for future generations. The i –flow also brings to the fore a new energy solution that debuts a solar panel roofing with thermo electric generator.

If plans go according to Hyundai wants them to, the i-flow might well debut as a D-segment family car by 2011. If it does, it will be the first diesel-electric hybrid power train from Hyundai
