Low oxygen levels ruining oceans; Global warming to blame

dolphin

Scientists are of the opinion that  global warming is pushing oxygen levels alarming sitautions in the Earth’s oceans, especially alongthe United States’ Pacific Northwest coast . Global warming has been impacting the eco system of the earth’s ocean and fragile food chains in a major way.

Low levels of oxygen create the most dangerous bacteria which are very harmful for other creatures in the deep ocean. The Pacific, Atlantic and Indian oceans are facing the same problem. The oxygen levels have decreased by the one-third over the past 50 years.  Oceans tend to go acidic owing to the absorption of carbon dioxide and other dangerous gases.

The low oxygen levels have ruined the ocean food chains, different type of fish, plants, and other species such as chinook and salmon in the deep ocean.
