Nissan Leaf wins Green Car Journal Vision Award

The Leaf has been chosen for being one of the best eco-friendly concept that is in its early stages of commercialization. The car was announced winner at the 2010 Washington Auto Show.

To be rolled out in limited numbers later during 2010, beat Coda Automotive’s electric sedan, the Ford Focus battery-electric vehicle, the Mercedes-Benz F-Cell and Toyota’s plug-in Prius to emerge winner. Significant is the fact that around 38,000 people have signed up for Leaf interest list.
